Frequency

(A note to the providers and nurses at Student Health Service– no, not that kind of frequency).

I’m sure sorry not to have been posting often. I heard today that more than one (well, two, to be specific) person has asked why I hadn’t been posting. There’s no good answer for that, other than that other things have been capturing my attention. But I want to post more frequently, and you can help.

I have developed a secret formula that determines the probability of my posting on a given day. The formula yields a number between 0 and 1. I then choose a number between 0 and 1 at random, and if it is less than or equal to the magic number, I post that day.

The key variable in the equation is the number of comments (below or by email) I have received about the post. They can be comments or questions, or just “Saw your post today.” The more there are the more likely I will be to post.

OK, I confess. There is no formula. Just saying…
